Gates Mectrol self-aligning timing belts have all the potential of standard polyurethane timing belts, but they use guides to eliminate any kind of lateral movement. Our range of specially designed polyurethane V-guides are serrated along the entire length of the belt to ensure optimum flexibility around the pulleys.
Gates Mectrol produces V-type belts of two types:
Built, each of the four V-shaped guides can be added to any step belts and in any combination of width and length
Integral, the V-shaped guide is completely molded according to the specific steps of the belts in order to guarantee greater strength and consistency.
