This unit has a piloted flange built for heavy duty applications. Two exagonal set screws on the inner race of the bearing are used to secure the shaft to the bearing. The housing is automatically aligned with the mounting surface by aligning the pilot lip on the mounting side of the flange with the assembly hole of the mounting surface. This unit is best used in situations where accurate alignment is required.
